The composer Dionyssios Lavrangas was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Argostolion on the 17th October 1862, the same year of the composers Balanchivadze, Behm, Berutti, Damrosch, Debussy, Delius, Emmanuel, Ganne, Greef, Harriss, Jones, Klose, Koch, Kovarovic, Leborne, Marshall-Hall, Maurice, O'Dwyer, Pizzi, Reiter, Vanzo. He died in Razata Kefallinia on the 18th July 1941
