The composer Alphons Maurice was born in Hamburg on the 14th April 1862, the same year of the composers Balanchivadze, Behm, Berutti, Damrosch, Debussy, Delius, Emmanuel, Ganne, Greef, Harriss, Jones, Klose, Koch, Kovarovic, Lavrangas, Leborne, Marshall-Hall, O'Dwyer, Pizzi, Reiter, Vanzo.
