Timothy (Mather) Spelman, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Brooklyn on the 21 Jenuary 1891, the same year of the composers Bliss, Casavola, Dzegelyonok, Gallon, Golovanov, Jacobi, Jirák, Johnson, Kardos, Kasianov, Krejcí, Kunz, Kálik, Migot, Moreno Torroba, Palma, Pannain, Pinto, Porter, Prokofiev, Raitio, Ravasenga, Sternberg. Died in Firenze on the 21 August 1970
