The musician István Kardos was born in Debrecen on the 6th June 1891, the same year of the composers Bliss, Casavola, Dzegelyonok, Gallon, Golovanov, Jacobi, Jirák, Johnson, Kasianov, Krejcí, Kunz, Kálik, Migot, Moreno Torroba, Palma, Pannain, Pinto, Porter, Prokofiev, Raitio, Ravasenga, Spelman, Sternberg.
