The musician Robin (Humphrey) Milford was born in Oxford on the 22nd Jenuary 1903, the same year of the composers Arrieu, Azmayparashvili, Berkeley, Blacher, Blanter, Bogdanov-Berezovsky, Britain, Douglas, Duke, Giannini, Goldschmidt, Kadosa, Karyotakis, Lavry, Lopatnikov, Meytus, Milyutin, Nabokov. He died in Lyme Regis (Dorset) on the 29th December 1959
