The musician Nikolas (Nikolay) Nabokov, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Lyubcha on the 17th April 1903, the same year of the composers Arrieu, Azmayparashvili, Berkeley, Blacher, Blanter, Bogdanov-Berezovsky, Britain, Douglas, Duke, Giannini, Goldschmidt, Kadosa, Karyotakis, Lavry, Lopatnikov, Meytus, Milford, Milyutin. He died in New York on the 6th April 1978
