Emile Jaques-Dalcroze, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Vienna on the 6th July 1865, the same year of the composers Boeck, De Boeck, Drake, Dukas, Dupin, Gilson, Loomis, Luders, Ludwig, Luporini, Magnard, Miles, Morera, Nielsen, Olenin, Orefice, Reinhardt, Sibelius, Spinelli, Szopski, Tofft. He died in Ginevra on the first July 1950
