The musician Gaspar Villate, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Habana in 1851, the same year of the composers Abbà Cornaglia, Benoît, Blockx, Chapí (y Lorente), Chvála, Coronaro, Falchi, Farkas, Ferrari, Gallignani, Grillet, Indy, Klauwell, Ratez, Röder. He died in Parigi on the 9th October 1891
