The composer Laurent Grillet was born in Sancoins on the 22nd May 1851, the same year of the composers Abbà Cornaglia, Benoît, Blockx, Chapí (y Lorente), Chvála, Coronaro, Falchi, Farkas, Ferrari, Gallignani, Indy, Klauwell, Ratez, Röder. Died in Parigi on the 4th November 1901
