The musician Jan Blockx was born in Antwerpen on the 25th Jenuary 1851, the same year of the composers Abbà Cornaglia, Benoît, Chapí (y Lorente), Chvála, Coronaro, Falchi, Farkas, Ferrari, Gallignani, Grillet, Indy, Klauwell, Ratez, Röder. He died in Kapellenbos (Antwerpen) on the 26th May 1912
