The composer Clarence Loomis, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Sioux Falls on the 13rd December 1889, the same year of the composers Behrend, Cotapos (Baeza), Davico, Deshevov, Gibbs, Gilardi, Henry, Jeremiás, La Prade, Ludwig, Paunovic, Petrzelka, Sirola, Toye. Died in Aptos (California) on the third July 1965
