The musician Bozidar Sirola was born in Zakanj on the 20th December 1889, the same year of the composers Behrend, Cotapos (Baeza), Davico, Deshevov, Gibbs, Gilardi, Henry, Jeremiás, La Prade, Loomis, Ludwig, Paunovic, Petrzelka, Toye.
