The musician Gabriel (Marie) Grovlez was born in Lille on the 4th April 1879, the same year of the composers Andreae, Berg, Bornschein, Bridge, Canteloube (de Malaret), Corder, Cras, Doire, Donaudy, Gaubert, Gilbert, Granichstaedten, Haas, Hatze, Kalnins, Laccetti, Lyudkevych, Ostrcil, Respighi, Scott, Shaw, Tigranian, Trunk, Uspensky. He died in Parigi on the 20th October 1944
