The musician Philippe Gaubert was born in Cahors on the third July 1879, the same year of the composers Andreae, Berg, Bornschein, Bridge, Canteloube (de Malaret), Corder, Cras, Doire, Donaudy, Gilbert, Granichstaedten, Grovlez, Haas, Hatze, Kalnins, Laccetti, Lyudkevych, Ostrcil, Respighi, Scott, Shaw, Tigranian, Trunk, Uspensky. He died in Parigi on the 8th July 1941
