Louis Alexandre (Alessandro) (Luigi, Lodovico) Piccinni was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Parigi on the 10th September 1779, the same year of the composers Aiblinger, Aimon, Benincori, Campenhout, Darondeau, Garaudé, Haeser, Häser, Lanza, Moore, Pavesi, Roser, Röth, Schiedermayer, Schmidt, Schuster. He died in Parigi on the 24th April 1850
