Julius Hopp, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Graz on the 18th May 1819, the same year of the composers Abt, Biaggi, Campana, De Giosa, Deffés, Glover, Gouvy, Henrion, Liebe, Mazzolani, Miladowski, Moniuszko, Oberthür, Offenbach, Puig, Suppé. Died in Vienna on the 28th August 1885
