Evgeny Grigor'yevich Brusilovsky was born in Rostov na Donu on the 12nd November 1905, the same year of the composers Adomián, Arapov, Bartos, Blazek, Blitzstein, Bozza, Dankevich, Darnton, Defossez, Farkas, Garrido, Gundry, Halffter (Escriche), Hartmann, Holewa, Hughes, Jolivet, Kenessey, Kosma, Kozlovsky, Kreuder, Landré, Leigh, Maes, Meyer, Michaelides, Müller, Pizzini, Rubin, Ruthenfranz, Sandi, Seiber, Sternefeld, Tippett, Tubin. He died in Mosca on the 9th May 1981
