The composer Dominique-Charles Planchet, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Tolosa on the 25th December 1857, the same year of the composers Berté, Bruneau, Chaminade, Dellinger, Dluski, Doppler, Elgar, Kelley, Kerker, Kienzl, Lazzari, Leoncavallo, Muresianu, Pasmore, Schoenefeld, Spetrino, Tarditi. He died in Versailles on the 19th July 1946
