Reinhold Laquai, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Zurigo on the first May 1894, the same year of the composers Avshalomov, Baranovic, Bennett, Borkovec, Capuana, Dessau, Dragoi, Granados y Campiña, Grosz, Heller, Kanitz, La Violette, Lazar, Miyagi, Molina, Pijper, Polovinkin, Schulhoff, Siohan. He died in Oberrieden on the third October 1957
