PRIVACY POLICY

1. Data Controller

The Data Controller is ItalianOpera.org. For any information, you may contact us at the following address:
info@italianopera.org

2. Total absence of cookies (Cookie Policy)

This website is static. It has no user database, no restricted area, and no shopping carts. Therefore:
  • We do not use profiling cookies to track your browsing behaviour.
  • We do not use proprietary technical cookies (the site does not need to "remember" who you are).
  • We do not use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) that install cookies on your device.
By browsing these pages, no files are silently stored on your computer or mobile device by us.

3. Data voluntarily provided by the user

The site does not provide contact forms to be filled in. The only way we can receive your data is if you voluntarily choose to write to us. Email communication: The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of email to info@italianopera.org entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s email address, which is necessary in order to reply to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. Such data are used exclusively to respond to the request and are never shared with third parties. Comments and contributions: If you choose to send a comment, correction or critical contribution by email with the intention of having it published on the site, the act of sending it constitutes consent to publication. If published, your name (or pseudonym) will be indicated upon request, but your email address will never be published.

4. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (for example YouTube videos, maps, or historical images from external archives). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website directly. These third-party websites may collect data about you, use cookies, or monitor your interaction with that content; this occurs outside the technical control of ItalianOpera.

5. Rights of the data subject

At any time, you have the right to request from ItalianOpera:
  • Access to your personal data (i.e. to know whether we have received an email from you).
  • Rectification or deletion of such data.
  • Restriction of the processing concerning you.
Since we do not maintain a database, "deleting data" simply means deleting the email you sent from our email inbox. To exercise these rights, please write to: info@italianopera.org.

6. Use of images and generative art

The images used on this site may include original visual representations created through generative art. Such images do not constitute historical, musical, or documentary sources, nor do they represent faithful reconstructions of events, persons, or works.
Their function is exclusively illustrative and interpretative, in support of the critical and historical content presented in the texts. All analyses and historical reconstructions are based solely on documentary, musical, and bibliographical sources explicitly cited.
The use of generative art is declared and constitutes an integral part of the site’s editorial method.
