Robert (Johannes Evangelist) Kimmerling, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Vienna on the 8th December 1737, the same year of the composers Beckmann, Crispi, Esser, Giroust, Haydn, Hopkinson, Manfredini, Millico, Myslivecek, Petrucci, Rouwyzer, Schwindl. He died in Oberweiden on the 5th December 1799
