The musician Paolo Cranach (Il fabbro), author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Civitavecchia in 1778, the same year of the composers Barbosa de Araújo, Caffi, Gianella, Hummel, Kanne, Kemp, Neukomm, Pacini, Pucitta, Romani, Rungenhagen, Sor, Tessino. He died in Milano on the 20th December 1861
