Sigismund Ritter von Neukomm was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Salisburgo on the 10th July 1778, the same year of the composers Barbosa de Araújo, Caffi, Cranach, Gianella, Hummel, Kanne, Kemp, Pacini, Pucitta, Romani, Rungenhagen, Sor, Tessino. He died in Parigi on the third April 1858
