The composer Placidus Cajetan von Camerloher (Cammerlocher), who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Murnau on the 9th August 1718, the same year of the composers Barbella, Conforto, Ferradini, Pasquale, Schmittbaur.
