The musician Dudley Buck was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Hartford on the 10th March 1839, the same year of the composers Duniecki, Gandolfi, Goldbeck, Joncières, Montero, Musorgsky, Müller, Nápravník, Paine, Pilinski, Rheinberger, Van der Linden. He died in West Orange (New Jersey) on the 6th October 1909
