The composer Charles (François Honoré) Duquesnoy (Lanctin), author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Beuzet on the 18th May 1759, the same year of the composers Darcis, Devienne, Haeffner, Leite, Paradis, Propiac, Rellstab.
