Salvatore Viganò, Italian choreographer, dancer, and composer. Creator of the "coreodramma," he transformed ballet into a form of total dramatic art. Famous for his collaboration with Beethoven on "The Creatures of Prometheus" and for his grand productions at La Scala that influenced Romantic aesthetics.
