Born in Arezzo in 1834, Cosimo Burali-Forti trained as a painter and musician, becoming a prominent figure in the city's cultural life. He was the author of paintings and musical compositions, showing a multifaceted personality capable of spanning different arts.
His musical works included sacred and civil pieces, often performed on the occasion of religious and patriotic anniversaries. His activity remained strongly linked to the reality of Arezzo, where he contributed to the dissemination of musical culture.
