Life

Born in Milan in 1787, Paolo Brambilla spent his entire life in his hometown, where he developed a musical career that led him to distinguish himself as an author of operas and sacred music. Raised in a lively cultural environment, he had the opportunity to approach the city's theaters and musical chapels from a young age.

His production was oriented both toward the theatrical scene, very active in Milan in the 19th century, and toward sacred music, which found a place in churches and liturgical celebrations.
