Felice Moretti, known as Padre Davide da Bergamo, was born in Zanica in 1791. Having entered the Franciscan order at a very young age, he cultivated his religious vocation and his passion for music, particularly the organ, in parallel.

In addition to works intended for the liturgy, he wrote pieces that today are also performed in a concert context, due to their expressive effectiveness and the virtuosity required. Some of his works were published and distributed in Italy and abroad, contributing to the fame of their author.
His name remains linked to nineteenth-century organ building, for which he composed pieces suitable for highlighting the new instruments built during that period. His music continues to represent a bridge between religious devotion and concert expression.
