Carli (Karl) Zoeller, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Berlino on the 26th March 1840, the same year of the composers Audran, Bourgault-Ducoudray, Brassin, Bronsart (von Schellendorf), Chaikovsky, Deslandres, Faccio, Gerbic, Goetz, Horneman, Jacobi, Kalhauge, Kleffel, Kühner, Lenepveu, Ricordi. Died in Londra on the 13rd July 1889
