The composer Friedrich Witt, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Niederstetten on the 8th November 1770, the same year of the composers Adrien, Beethoven, Dupuy, Ebers, Glachant, Hewitt, Orgitano, Paganini, Reicha, Schikaneder, Schneider, Schubert, Titov. He died in Würzburg on the third Jenuary 1836
