The musician Leopold Wenzel, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Napoli on the 23th Jenuary 1847, the same year of the composers Cervantes (Kawanag), Dimitrescu, Eichborn, Grandjean, Haarklou, Holmès, Klughardt, Láska, Mackenzie, Salvayre, Scharwenka, Servais. He died in Asnières (Parigi) on the 21 August 1923
