Wendelin Weissheimer was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Osthofen on the 26th February 1838, the same year of the composers Bendl, Benvenuti, Bizet, Bruch, Callaerts, Clay, Fairlamb, Ferreira Veiga, Hill, Kremser, L'Arronge, Lacome, Morales, Schulz-Beuthen. Died in Nürnberg on the 16th June 1910
