The musician Rudolf Wagner-Régeny, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Szász-Régen on the 28th August 1903, the same year of the composers Arrieu, Azmayparashvili, Berkeley, Blacher, Blanter, Bogdanov-Berezovsky, Britain, Douglas, Duke, Giannini, Goldschmidt, Kadosa, Karyotakis, Lavry, Lopatnikov, Meytus, Milford, Milyutin, Nabokov. He died in Berlino on the 18th September 1969
