Bernard Wagenaar, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Arnhem on the 18th July 1894, the same year of the composers Avshalomov, Baranovic, Bennett, Borkovec, Capuana, Dessau, Dragoi, Granados y Campiña, Grosz, Heller, Kanitz, La Violette, Laquai, Lazar, Miyagi, Molina, Pijper, Polovinkin, Schulhoff, Siohan. He died in York (Maine) on the 19th May 1971
