The composer Alicia Urreta, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Veracruz on the 12nd October 1935, the same year of the composers Brindus, Eaton, Gifford, Grabovsky, Kancheli, Katzer, Ketting, Lorentzen, Maw, Penherski, Perkins, Pololáník, Pueyo, Renosto, Ronnefeld, Rudzinski, Sadai, Sallinen, Schat, Schickele, Schwertsik, Soler, Susa, Tchaikowsky. He died in Mexico on the 20th December 1986
