Friedrich Hieronymus Truhn, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Elbing on the 14th November 1811, the same year of the composers Arnold, Becker, Blahetka, Catelani, Godefroid, Hiller, Liszt, Orlowski, Schindelmeisser, Skroup, Speranza, Taubert, Thomas. Died in Berlino on the 30th April 1886
