Armen (Tigran) Tigranian was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Alexandropol on the 26th December 1879, the same year of the composers Andreae, Berg, Bornschein, Bridge, Canteloube (de Malaret), Corder, Cras, Doire, Donaudy, Gaubert, Gilbert, Granichstaedten, Grovlez, Haas, Hatze, Kalnins, Laccetti, Lyudkevych, Ostrcil, Respighi, Scott, Shaw, Trunk, Uspensky. He died in Tbilisi on the 10th February 1950
