Alexander (Nikolayevich) Tcherepnin (Cherepnin), who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in San Pietroburgo on the 20th Jenuary 1899, the same year of the composers Angelo, Auric, Bárdos, Chávez (y Ramírez), Cortese, Coward, Davidenko, Duke, Gedda, Haas, Korchmaryov, Krása, Lamote de Grignon y Ribas, Manziarly, Müller von Kulm, Poulenc, Rohloff. He died in Parigi on the 29th September 1977
