Otto Taubmann was born in Hamburg on the 8th March 1859, the same year of the composers Bemberg, De Koven, Dubois, Enna, Goepfart, Gunsbourg, Harcourt, Herbert, Ilyinsky, Mandl, Rösel, Schjelderup, Valle-Riestra. Died in Berlino on the 4th July 1929
