Sándor Szokolay, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Kúnágota on the 30th March 1931, the same year of the composers Barkauskas, Blatný, Bussotti, Bázlik, Elkus, Harris, Hayashi, Hedges, Humel, Junger, Kagel, Kelterborn, Komorous, Neumann, Nikolayev, Nørholm, Pospísil, Prosev, Rosenfeld, Schidlowsky, Schönbach, Toyama.
