George Sklavos, author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Braila on the 20th August 1888, the same year of the composers Alexandrov, Beyer, Butting, Clapp, Coppola, Crews, Delvincourt, Durey, Milligan, Odak, Rasbach, Shaposhnikov, Steiner. Died in Athinai on the 19th March 1976
