The musician François Mathieu (Franz) Servais, who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in San Pietroburgo in 1847, the same year of the composers Cervantes (Kawanag), Dimitrescu, Eichborn, Grandjean, Haarklou, Holmès, Klughardt, Láska, Mackenzie, Salvayre, Scharwenka.
