Humphrey Searle was born in Oxford on the 26th August 1915, the same year of the composers Catunda, Cockshott, Cumbersworth, Ehrlich, Gallois-Montbrun, Hanus, Kilpatrick, Kondorossy, Kovách, Landowski, Lee, Legley, Nystedt, Pajaro, Persichetti, Quinet, Richter, Sagaev, Surinach, Toda, Vallerand, Van de Woestijne. Died in Londra on the 12nd May 1982
