Johann Gottfried Schwanenberger (Schwanenberg), author of instrumental and vocal music, was born in Wolfenbüttel in 1740, the same year of the composers Aranaz y Vides, Arne, Arnold, Baumgarten, Bernardini, Carter, Celoniati, Chartrain, Fago, Gatti, Granier, Lasceux, Mathieu, Paisiello, Rosales. He died in Braunschweig on the 29th March 1804
