The composer Karl Leopold (Carl) Röllig was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Hamburg in 1735, the same year of the composers Alexandre, Bach, Baillou, Berg, Coignet, La Houssaye, Monza, Orgitano, Raimondi, Schobert, Schweitzer, Silva, Tenducci, Toeschi. Died in Vienna on the 4th March 1804
