Hugo Röhr was born in Dresda on the 13rd February 1866, the same year of the composers Abbiate, Baussnern, Berutti, Busoni, Cilea, Clutsam, Cole, Daneau, Doret, Drysdale, Duncan, Döbber, Fedeli, Felix, Hollaender, Kalinnikov, Kaskel, Korn, Lincke, Lucas, Rebikov, Satie, Scharrer, Strauss. He died in Monaco on the 7th June 1937
