August Reuss was a author of vocal and instrumental music; was born in Liliendorf on the 6th March 1871, the same year of the composers Ambrosio, Arregui Garay, Blech, Borch, Converse, Demény, Jessel, Kaempfert, Lowtzky, Mugellini, Nevin, Paliashvili, Patterson, Pipkov, Robles, Shapleigh, Spendiaryan, Stenhammar, Urbach. Died in Monaco on the 18th June 1935
