Fred Raymond (Vesely, Raimund Friedrich), who wrote music for orchestra, chamber and vocal music, was born in Vienna on the 20th April 1900, the same year of the composers Aav, Antheil, Barraud, Berezowsky, Bernard, Blum, Burkhard, Bush, Copland, Dunayevsky, Ermatinger, Ferroud, Godron, Halffter (Escriche), Haug, Head, Ikonomov, Krenek, Mosolov, Oboussier, Pimsleur, Reutter, Salmhofer, Schmidt-Isserstedt, Shekhter, Taktakishvili. He died in ÜBerlinogen on the 10th Jenuary 1954
